A Fan Fiction Christmas Vacation Chapter 10

Later that night in the lodge, Rex, Raptor, Taco, and Mature prepared for the night before Christmas as they managed to decorate the reformed Christmas tree, with the last being the star on top, all four standing up on each other keeping their balance until…

“Almost have it!” Rex said holding Raptor over his shoulders to steadily place the star right on top.

“We did it!” Mature jumped cheering with the other three falling right off his back luckily landing on the couch behind them.

“Wow! We did really good job señor Rex, Raptor, and Mature.” Taco complimented.

Eventually other guests in the lodge who didn’t attended the ballroom party gathered around the Christmas tree in awe by the four OC’s hard work like David and the rest of his OC’s, the Bebop crew, Shinobu and her ninja clan, Kaleido Stage, the Marines, and many more.

“Wow you guys! You really out did yourselves this time.” David acknowledged his childhood OC’s.

“You mean, you guys really like what we did with the tree?” Rex asked surprised raising an eyebrow but with a grin.

“I agree with David on this.” Twilight Sparkle added, “The tree looks absolutely wonderful.”

“Yay, Mature’s happy now.”  

“I knew you had it in ya, Mature!” Pinkie Pie cheered glomping him.

“Eh Ranger, come join us will ya?” Vash offered.

Ranger shakes his head, “No thanks. This party ain’t really my style. I’m hitting the hot tub I rounded myself up a couple of the chicks Steve used to date, and they’re totally smashed.” He said heading for the door.

Eragon goes over to Moe who was passed out on the floor, “You need to go back to your room or the bathroom, Moe?” He asked, poking him. “Moe? Mooooooooe?”

Moe finally wakes up from his hangover, “Ugh... what happened?”

“You got drunk.” Eragon explained, “I was just seeing if you needed to go to the bathroom.”

“Oh, that’s what happened? Ugh...” Moe groaned rubbing the back of his head. “Ah man... my head hurts like hell... where’s everyone else?”

“Over there.” Eragon pointed to the nearby room where the Christmas tree was.

At the chair, Xen watches as everyone danced with each other. “...I wonder what it’s like to dance with someone...” He said to himself, his blue eyes watching them carefully.

“Feeling left out, aren’t we kid?” Dane remarked.

“Yeah... I guess so,” He muttered absently.

“Hang in there kiddo, you’ll find someone soon enough.” Dane patted him gently on the back before walking off, “In the mean time, I got someone to be with right now.” He heads over to Violet asking her to dance.

With Dawn, she and Leon the First danced quite well with each other. “I must say, you’re pretty good,” She complimented.

“A lot of the ladies always say that, I’m just quite the gentlemen I am when it comes to beautiful woman.” Leon smiles charmingly.

“Really,” She smirked slightly.

“Why of course... I love respecting all woman, they are quite the beauty of nature.”

“Well, I usually dance with people back where I come from,” Dawn told Leon the First, being twirled around for it bit before they resumed dancing.

“Well now, that sure is a better way for you to get along with people who are close to you, especially someone who is quite the dancer, miss...”

“As you are,” She nodded at him.

Montana was still dancing the waltz with Nanoha while thinking of a present for her. “Nanoha...” He said.

“Hm?” What is it Montana?”

“Nothing, but I’m enjoying this vacation here despite the setbacks.”

“Ah, same here, I really like spending time with everyone.”

Rein continued watching everyone dancing with Agito. “Uwah! Everyone’s having fun dancing.”

“I wanna see someone mess up or something along those lines.” Agito exclaimed.

Rein looks towards her, “Why say that Agito?”

“Nothing that you’ll understand Rein, it’s something that people like me can enjoy.”

“I really like it when you dance to something calm like this.” Felicia smiled to Napalm, “I know you like your hard core music though. I just feel better when you’re at peace, nyah.”

Napalm smiles back and looks a little distant, “Yeah, I know I can be a real nut job at times.”

“This would be more fun if I could like Samba or something.” Aelita remarked doing a twirl.

“Samba, eh?” Iosif replied.

“Anything that lets me move a lot, after all, I am hyper.” She smiles.

Iosif smiles back, “Definitely suits you.”

“I think I heard the word, “Samba”, Matty.~” Felicia replied in glee.

Napalm quickly thinks for a moment, “That’s a fast one isn’t it?” He sweat drops.

“You ever do a Samba before, Blop?” Bruce asked his partner.

Blop nods as her face changes ever so quickly to form a TV set, “Blop!”

Bruce replies to Blop with a grin and thinks to himself, “Just gotta make sure she stays off the naughty channels...”

At the table, Vita was seen eating some pasta, with Signum eating chicken with rice and Shamal drinking some apple cider having broiled fish and rice. “Have to admit, the food’s good here.” Vita said.

“I agree, but not at Hayate’s level, but good enough as it is.” Signum replies.

“True, but can’t complain with what host has here Signum.” Shamal added.

“Yeah, so don’t have a cow on it Boobie Monster.” Vita joked ticking Signum off at her comment.

“Vita, I’m gonna beat you for that side-comment later.”

“Bring it on Signum; I hadn’t faced you in awhile now.”

“Now, now, you two, save it for later when we’re back at Mid alright?” Yuuno exclaimed eating her salad and bread.

Vita and Signum glared at each other in response, “Alright then.”

“My, my, this is gonna be a good one when we get back.” Shamal remarked.

“I think they’re gonna do a little spar for them means a destructive battle for the rest of us.”

“That’s true Yuuno.”

Back in the other room, more fun was seen by the Christmas tree as the party guest enjoy their night with Excalibur and his assistances Sebastian, Ruby, and Ayame arriving to announce the approach for Christmas day. “Alright everyone, the time has final come. Who’s ready?”

“Let it rip!” Vash replied holding up a Champaign bottle as everyone in the room cheered.

David readies himself to give his present to Twilight when Téa notices. Looking curios, she tries conversing with him. “Is there anyone in particular you’re giving that to?”

‘The One’ turns his attention towards her in surprise, “Uh yeah, it is.”

“It’s for Twilight isn’t it?” Téa answered.

“So you know, huh?” David looked concerned rubbing the back of his head.

“That’s very sweet of you to get her something.” She says in a kind manner much to David’s reaction.

“You mean, you’re not mad at me?”

“Of course not, you two make a wonderful couple and I’m very happy for you.”

“Thanks Téa” David responds sheepishly.

“I think it’s great the two of you are together. Because this will be the night you will all die…” Téa suddenly said unexpectedly.

David looked at her rather odd, “What do you mean?’” He questioned her. “That’s not something you would say.”

“It is now...” Her kind response then became dark as she holds out a mask designed as a kistune placing it onto her face and at that moment the room suddenly went pitch black as everything else in the lodge with all the lights going out.  

“Myah?” Felicia cried.

“What it frig's crap!?” Joe went.

“Hm?”Both Napalm and Bruce muttered.

“What happened to the lights?” Mizore asked.

“It wasn’t me, or my toasters!” Mature informed.

Meanwhile Ranger is out in the Hot Tub relaxing; “MY Mature is doing something stupid sense is tingling.”

Lacus Clyne emerges from the water. “You have a what sense?”

“I can’t find my Vodka!!” Nikolai shouted.

“Okay, who the hell cut off the lights??” Luna demanded.

“Nyan, is this the part where we do the mystery kiss? Nyahahahaha!” Myffle said.

Blop clings to Bruce and shudders a little bit, “Bloooop...”

“It’s okay sweetie, I’m right here.” Bruce comforts her.

“Imagine that, the power has gone out, how original.” Dempsey remarked.

Montana looks around but can’t see due to being dark, “What the?

“Huh, did they forget to pay for their electric bill?” Nanoha asked.

“Who cut off the lights?” Kira asked.

“I dunno, but stay close,” Link warned, looking around cautiously.

“Don’t look at me, even I use lightning magic, I didn’t do that.” Fate exclaimed.

“NO POWER! Just like old home!” Nikolai remarked.

“Have no fear everyone.” Excalibur informed. “The lights will be on any minute now...” Tapping his foot to wait for the lights to turn on but no response, “Any minute now…” He taps again this time harder. “Hmm… this doesn’t seem right at all.”

“Could the lights be because of the weather?” Aeris asked.

“They shouldn’t be. They’re supposed to be able to withstand subzero temperatures,” Cloud answered.

“Either that someone cut off the power or something.” Ranma tried explaining.

“Yeah, or blown up the fuse box with another appliance.” Vivio added.

“Matty kun, could you since the power is out?” Felicia asked.

Napalm sighs, “I was hoping I wouldn’t have to, but we need light. Shape Shift! White Terror!” He then changes into Shift. “Shape Shift! Bright Man!” Changing once more into an orange robot master with a light bulb fixture on his head and flips on his light so everyone could see. “There! Much better.”

The horrified party guests in the other room are then greeted by the assailant, Téa reappearing in a different outfit with the kitsune mask on her face.

“Tea, what the hell is the meaning of all this?” David demanded.

Téa or the assailant laughed evilly at the young man. “You fool... you had this coming for a long time now.”

Twilight suddenly cast a magic spell at Téa for an attack, blasting her back, but she then uses dark magic to capture Twilight.

“Let her go, Téa! This has gone far enough!” David exclaimed enraged.

“No, this has just begun.” The assailant replied. “I had sent the inventions out in order to bring you all here and left Excalibur the position as your host without anyone knowing of this place so it would be easy for me to take you all on at once.”

“Why are you doing this?” David asked. “Is this because what happened between us?”

“Us?” She repeated before laughing evilly, “There was never an ‘us’ between you and me. I was only hired by my masters to have you killed so I pretended all this time to be in love with you and you felt for it like the pitiful hero you are, how pathetic.”

“You’re a monster!” Twilight retorted.

“Aww… look at this, the little pony is trying to defend for her knight and shining armor to rescue her. Too bad she and the rest of everyone else will have to see him die before I finish them off.”

Just when the assailant is about to attack with her dark magic, she then gets kicked away by a masked figured, which releases Twilight from being captured and surprises everyone in the room, including David and Twilight who recognized this person, “Layla!” They both said.

Layla, in her Masked Star outfit takes off her mask to reveal herself as she brushes back her hair and turns to face the assailant, “I should have known you were behind this.” She then turns to David and Twilight’s aid, “Are you alright?”

“Yeah, we are thanks to you Layla.” Twilight said.

“Enough games! It’s time we finish this once and for all!” She retorted getting back on her feet and summoning into the room black phantasmal beings with piercing red eyes taking on the form of a humanoid appearance with wings that are partially transparent. “Now my Shadows, attack!” The assailant ordered.

“Prepare yourself everyone!” Layla ordered.

“Count us in!” Shinobu said stepping in with Vash who had his .45 Long Colt.

“You guys need a hand.” Spike Spiegel assisted armed with his Jericho 941.

“Don’t let us site this one out!” Johnson retorted with both Master Chief and Arbiter by his side, a M7/Caseless Submachine Gun in the Chief’s position and Type-1 Energy Weapon/Sword in the Arbiter’s.

“Allow us to assist you as well.” Sebastian offered with Excalibur by his side.

“Onward everyone!” Excalibur called out.

“Thanks you guys.” David responds with a comforting smile on his face.

“Perhaps I should throw in a little more into this fight.” The assailant added, this time summoning two more creatures, one being suits of armor with short rotating blades on their forearms and the other large statues of hooded, winged figures. “Dark Minions, Sentinels, attack!”

When all of a sudden there arose a great clatter and everyone turned to see what was the matter. And the Rhyme broke down as well.  Over the snow drifts and through trees came a back pack of timber wolves all harnessed to a sled of bone and wood.  Ed, shivering and covered in bear fur was lashed to the sled while Ranger rode on the back with his sword drawn.

“Merry Christmas to all!”  He shouted.  “Now you’re all going to die!”

Both the party guest and the darkness begin fighting very intensively, as David clashes with a swarm of Shadows dispatching them with a single hit with his shield sword. The Shadows enclose on David relying on their shadowy melee weapons to attack, but are blasted and kicked back by Twilight’s magic and Layla’s flexibilities.

Vash and Spike surprisingly work together with Shinobu by their side facing off with Dark Minions using their spinning attacks. The two fire from both their firearms with Spike French Kicking a couple shattering the Dark Minions armor into pieces once dealt with.

“I thought you didn’t like violence?” Spike said leaning in back to back with Vash.

“I prefer not to take the lives of others while this on the other hand is just soulless beings that bring fear to others for the holidays.” Vash replies dodging a Dark Minions attack hurling spinning blades with Shinobu slicing it in half with her sword.

Spike smirks in response, “Whatever you say sixty billion double dollar man.”

“I really wish you’d stop calling me that.” Vash groans.

“Quite you’re whining already will ya! We got bigger problems here.” Johnson retorted firing his MA5D Individual Combat Weapon System at a massive swarm of Shadows with Master Chief firing both his Submachine Guns at both Shadows and Dark Minions before throwing a M9 HE-DP grenade to reload blowing up a few and Arbiter hacking and slashing away with two Energy Swords in both hands.

“Shall we, Excalibur?” Sebastian asked to the Holy Sword in which he replies.

“Certainly.” Transforming himself into his sword form as Sebastian took hold of him and slays away the many Shadows that came after them.

David attempts to go after the assailant with his shield sword extending it into a Fusion Sword which two Sentinels guarding her prepare to attack him. The first one uses a large staff that clashes with David’s Fusion blade releasing a blast of magical energy to repel him but young man refused to give in and deflects the attack and cuts down the Sentinel.

Ranger steers his sled of timber wolves into the fray as the pack ran or chomped down swarms of Shadows Ranger had out his Moon Sword and slain many in his path before steering his sled at the second Sentinel knocking it over before throwing out a Plasma Grenade blowing the Sentinel into pieces before continuing to kill more Shadows along with Dark Minions.

With the small group managing to take out as many Shadows and Dark Minions, they are surrounded by Sentinels and even more armies of Shadows and Dark Minions. When all might have seemed lost Ruby and Ayame spring into action with the rest of the party guest to fight off the assailant’s army.

David then comes face to face with the assailant staring her down with his sword, “Looks like it’s just you and me, now!”

She responds, “I quite impressed you’ve managed to make it through all my servants. But this is where it finally ends!”

“For you that is.” David charges in for an attack aiming a blow to her, but uses her dark power in defense and blasts him back. He struggles to get up off the floor as the assailant takes hold of him by the collar staring him up close in the face.

“Such a pity it has to end like this. And to think you thought I truly loved you. If only there was someone out there who loved you.”

David coughs a little but managed to put on a smirk, “Aren’t you forgetting something?”

“What’s that?”

“You’re forgetting one, or two of your biggest rivals?” The young man remarks, taking advantage of her lower guard as Twilight and Layla come in for an attack kicking her across the room.

The rest of the group runs in, followed by most of the party guest as Twilight and Layla help David up on his feet. With her army defeated, the now defeated, Téa gets back up on her feet staring everyone else down. “This isn’t over! I may have lost but I can still destroy all of you!”

“This is just like you, Téa.” Layla express disbelief towards her. “You act extremely supportive and spirited towards everyone only to manipulate them in the end, how pathetic.”

“The only one here who’s pathetic is you…” Téa taunts her.

She tries to kill Layla, but Twilight tackles her beating her face to a pulp with her hooves then uses her magic for levitation swinging her back and forth to the ground before tossing her out the resort through the window and into the snow as everyone watched in awe and shock expressions.

Suddenly the lights are turned back on, but a figure stands out in front of the party guest in the ballroom wearing a blue mask and a cigarette in his mouth, carrying over his shoulders a tone of presents all in one bag. He looks to the party guest in surprise with a simple response, “Uh… season’s greetings to you all…”

“Hey! What’s he doing with all our stuff?” Dane questioned.

“That’s the Blu Team Spy!” Shift in his Bright Man form remarked.

“AAAHHH!!!” Xen screamed, finding that his present is gone. “WHAT HAPPENED TO MY MASTER'S PRESENT?!?!?”

“Wait a minute...The BLU SPY!” Joe yelled. “YOU TOOK MIZORE’S GIFT....”

“YOU TOOK MY VODKA....” Nikolai retorted both him and Joe then yell, “YOU WILL DIE!!!”

“What did you do with my present for Link?!" Kira growled, with lightning sparking in her fists.

“Wait a minute...” Montana said searching for something on his body and becomes ticked-off, “You took Tekken, my partner!”

“That can’t be good, but...” Nanoha said unexpected, searching around her neck, “He stole Raging Heart, my partner!”

“HE STOLE MY POTATOE!!” Erica screamed, having found that her food is stolen.

“He took my job!” Moe blurted randomly still a bit sober.

Xejo raises and eyebrow at Moe, then turns back to Spy, “GIMME MY GIFT TO MIX BACK, YOU KNIVING JUDAS!”

The Blu Spy looked at everyone afraid for a bit then says back with a smirk, “No presents for any of you, hahaha...!” He runs off outside with everyone’s presents.

“Well, whaddaya’ do with a Spy?” Shift asked himself with his response, “Fry heeeeeem! Shape Shift! Red Team Pyro!” Changing from his Bright Man form then into the Red Pyro and tries to talk, “Hmmmmhmhmmhmhmm! HMMMM!” He finds out he can only talk in the usual muffled voice of the Pyro.

“Matty! Get everyone’s stuff back! Just...don’t burn anything...” Felicia cries sweat dropping.

Mizore appears in an angered aura summoning her ice claws, “...YOU TOOK MY GIFT AND THE GIFT FOR JOE. I WILL FREEZE YOU TO DEATH!”

“You better return everything you stole from everyone here Blu Spy, now!” Fate retorted very angry that the presents were stolen by a lowly spy of all people.

“I AM GOING TO MAKE YOU WISH YOU WERE DEAD!” Joe yelled pulling out a shotgun.

“I WILL PAINT RED SQUARE WITH YOUR BLOOD!” Nikolai also yelled having his PPsh-41.

The Blu Spy runs outside laughing like a maniac towards Téa had landed who was getting up from the snow after being thrown outside. “What happened?” She asked.

“Can’t catch me… I’m the Blu Spy!” The Blu Spy laughs once more till suddenly out of the blue both him and Téa get run over by reindeer and a red sled.

Everyone runs outside but suddenly stop seeing their presents all over the place followed by a red sled outside of the resort.

“Huh? Who’s that?” David asked.

“First, this weirdo with a blue face, and now this?” Link blinked.

“What the...” Luna muttered, just as confused as the others.

Shift, in his muffled voice of Pyro responds, “Hmm! Hmmmhmhmmmhmmmmmhm...” (Gee! Thanks for the vote of confidence)

“What the heck?” Joe said.

“Am I so drunk that I’m seeing things again?” Nikolai asked.

“If you are, then I am too!” Dempsey added.

“Wait, I see him too.” Xejo confirmed to the two.

A jolly round man wearing a red coat and red hat, with a white beard jumps off the sled giving out a, “Ho ho ho... Merry Christmas to all of Fan Fiction!”

Montana is at awed and surprised by what he was seeing, It can’t be, it is... it’s...it’s...”

Nanoha who was also surprised finished Montana’s sentence, “Santa Claus.”

“I knew it!” Moe shouted out. “I knew Tim Allen was really Santa Claus.”

“That’s funny; I always thought he was this guy?” Mature replied holding up a picture of a fat man jumping off a diving board.

“Santa Claus!?” Joe said.

“I...I’m seeing Santa Claus!” Bruce said to Shift with his eyes growing wide.

“Oh my gosh! Santa!!” Kira beamed.

Shift responds, “HmmmHmmmmm!? (Santaaaaa?!)

“Matty, undo the form, we can’t understand you.” Myffle said to her master.

Napalm goes back to normal, “Whew, sorry about that.”

“S-Santa??” Erica couldn't help but yelp out in surprise.

“Ohmygosh, myah! It's Santa!~” Felicia cheered.

“It’s a bar-tender! Oh, wait it’s Santa Claus...Sorry Saint Nick, my fault in confusion.” Nikolai apologized sweat dropping.

“Blooooooooop...” Blop said with her eyes grow wide with wonder and amazement.


“My God, he’s real.” Fate said surprised.

“Cool...he exists.” Hayate added.

“Aw no way man, but he’s standing right in front of us, so he must be real...” Ranma remarked.

“Santa Claus! This is great.” Mizore smiled standing next to Joe.

“Wow... Just wow...” Luna trailed off in amazement.

“He’s the one you told me about who gives toys to children?” Link asked Kira.

“Yes!!” Kira smiled ear to ear.

“Amazing...!” Link gasped.

Dempsey responds to Link, “The same one! OORAH!”

“Sorry about my reckless driving with my reindeer.” Santa apologized, “Couldn’t tell where the landing was to my own work shop.”

“No, no, you helped us stop the BLU spy from stealing our gifts...and my vodka.” Nikolai stated.

“You actually did us a favor.” Napalm added.

“We should be thanking you, Mr. Claus,” Aeris said.

“Yeah, thanks for stopping him, Santa.” Bruce smirked.

“Ho ho ho, it’s nothing everyone. Glad you all could make it for the holidays.” Santa replied.

Xen blinked at the new person before them. “Xen, that’s Santa Claus,” Rallen whispered to the boy, “He brings gifts to all good boys and girls every year on Christmas.”

“So um...Santa... Why are you here?” Joe asked.

“Why... I’m the host of this here resort, can’t I stop by and say hello to his guest.”

“...Is he saying what I think he’s saying?” Kira asked, slap jawed.

“Why I’m the host.”

“Wait a minute…” Joe said with Mizore finishing his sentence.

“You’re the host?”

“Wow... that’s unexpected,” Fred admitted.

“Dude... that’s awesome...this is gonna be the best vacation I’ve took in awhile.” Montana grinned.

“Santa is the host! Myah, oh this is awesome!” Myffle cheered.

“I thought that guy…” Xejo points at Excalibur, “was…”

“So did I,” Cloud remarked.

Santa Claus looked at Excalibur the back to the rest of the group, “Ah, he’s just my little helper for the resort while I was away.”

“Now that's a surprise...” Napalm said stunned.

"Nobody back home is gonna believe this!" Kira smiled.

“I’ll say.” Aelita agreed.

“I see that you all are dressed up very nicely for the holidays. Come on and inside and grab your presents everyone. I’ll give you your gifts as well.” The jolly old man laughed walking in the resort carrying his red bad.

“Let’s take a picture of it guys, I doubt that anyone’s gonna believe this when we show them.” Ranma said.

“Not even Nabiki, Ranma?” Aelita asked.

“Not even Nabiki’s gonna believe this Aelita.”

“I agree. Let's take a photo!” Aeris nodded.

Felicia hugs Napalm from behind. “We got to meet Santa, dance, and now this!”

The entire guests, Excalibur, and Santa Claus celebrated inside the resort on Christmas day with David arriving in last with Twilight and Layla.

“Some holiday season this has become huh?” David remarked.

“That’s for sure.” Twilight sighs of relief before turning her attention towards Layla, “Say Layla? Should we?”

Layla looks at her with a smile and replies, “Yes, we should.”

David looked at the two confused as they kissed him at the same time on both his cheeks, making the young man’s face turn boiling red. “Twilight... Layla...?”

“You were standing under a mistletoe.” Layla smiled.

“You should see the look on your face.” Twilight giggled.

Vash, catching a glimpse of this gets an idea for himself as he goes up to Shinobu with a mistletoe in hand putting it over both of them as he takes hold of the ninja apprentice and embraces her with a kiss. Shinobu who didn’t seem too surprised instead lifts one foot up in the air as Spike only watched in confusion uninterestedly walks away.

Outside of the lodge, Téa wakes up unconsciously groaning in pain still underneath Santa’s sled and unable to move as she calls out for help with no one to hear her, “H-hello...? Is anyone out there?”

At the very last moment, both a white wolf with crimson markings across its body and a tail shaped like a calligraphy brush, and a small, cat-like creature that’s body is clean white fur with four ears and two beady pink eyes walk in the scene at the same time. The wolf, Amaterasu, and the cat-like creature, Kyubey turn their attention up front as Kyubey responds, tilting his head in with happiness as Amaterasu acknowledges with a bark, “We hope you all have a wonderful year.”
